Is Asiktoto licensed, legit and safe for players in Indonesia?
We cannot say yes. Our desk has not verified any licence in Asiktoto’s name, and a permit from another country has no effect on Indonesian law, where there is no gambling regulator and no local licence. An “official” badge carries no legal weight for an Indonesian player.
The law itself is clear. Articles 303 and 303 bis of the old Criminal Code prohibit gambling. The new Criminal Code, UU 1/2023, sets out Article 426 for organisers, with up to nine years in prison or a fine of Rp2 billion, and Article 427 for players, with up to three years or a fine of Rp50 million. Under the ITE Law, UU 1/2024, Article 27(2) read with Article 45(3), distributing gambling content can bring up to ten years or Rp10 billion. Komdigi, formerly Kominfo, blocks gambling sites.
What you can still check: are the full terms readable before sign-up, did your address come from the operator’s confirmed channel, and does every request for money appear only in the cashier? One “no” means stop.

Scenario: a support agent on WhatsApp wants a fee to release your withdrawal
A so-called agent asks you to wire an admin charge before your payout can go through. A genuine operator never asks for a fresh transfer to a personal account, and money sent this way is rarely recovered.
Scenario: a new link posted in a Telegram group
