How a Bitcoin deposit works
The cashier shows a Bitcoin address, often with a QR code, generated for your account. You send BTC to it from your wallet or exchange; after enough network confirmations, the operator credits your balance. We do not quote how many confirmations or how long that takes. Bitcoin addresses come in several formats, commonly beginning with 1, 3 or bc1 — so the shape of an address tells you little about who owns it.
Bitcoin withdrawal: your address is the weak point
To withdraw, paste your own receiving address into the cashier. Take it fresh from your wallet app, not from an old chat or your transaction history. Compare the beginning and end with the wallet screen. A request that sits pending is reviewed by the operator; nobody needs a «network fee paid in advance» to a separate address to release it.
Three thefts that target Bitcoin users
Clipboard hijacking
Malware on a phone or computer watches for copied crypto addresses and replaces them with the attacker’s. You paste, it looks like an address, you send. Defence: check characters after pasting, and do not install apps from outside official stores — fake casino APKs are a known carrier.
Address poisoning
An attacker sends a tiny transaction from an address that starts and ends like one you use, hoping you will copy it from your history later. Defence: never copy addresses from transaction history.
Fake giveaways and «doubling»
«Send BTC to this address and receive double back, official Asiktoto promo.» No casino doubles coins sent to a random address. It is theft with a logo.
Staying safe with Bitcoin
- Your seed phrase and private keys are never needed by any operator or support desk.
- Use 2FA on the exchange you send from.
- Keep the transaction ID from a blockchain explorer for every deposit and withdrawal.

If you sent BTC to the wrong address
Be realistic: a confirmed Bitcoin transfer to a stranger is almost never recovered. Still, act quickly. Save the transaction ID and the address, report it to the exchange you sent from, and run a malware scan on the device you used before making any other payment. Change the password of your casino account and exchange account in case credentials were also taken. Then watch for the follow-up trick: «recovery experts» who contact victims and promise to trace coins for an upfront fee. They are the same kind of fraudster, returning for a second payment. Price swings are a risk too
Bitcoin’s value in rupiah moves constantly, so the amount you deposit may be worth more or less by the time you withdraw. That is market risk, not fraud, but it matters for budgeting.
